Northeast Oregon Economic Plan 2023-2028 Update

The Northeast Oregon Economic Development District updates the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for Wallowa, Union, and Baker counties every five years. The CEDS is a planning tool that helps coordinate efforts to strengthen our economy, and it is important for two main reasons:

• It provides the opportunity for people and organizations in our region to work toward a shared vision of economic vitality

• It allows economic development organizations to access federal funding for larger-scale projects that support our region’s economy

The success of the CEDS depends on engagement with community members, like YOU, throughout our region. We are asking you to complete the survey below to share what you think our economy needs over the next five years. You’ll also have the option to enter a drawing for a $25 gift card to be used at Main Street businesses in our region. Your responses are anonymous and will never be connected with your name.
