NEOEDD is part of collaborative groups seeking to improve the regional food system in Baker, Union and Wallowa counties.
Various efforts have been made in Baker, Union, and Wallowa counties in the past 15 years to improve local food systems, including farm-to-school, community food systems assessments, and food policy councils. NEOEDD has actively supported sustainable food systems efforts as a crucial feature of a vibrant economy.
