Building Your Business Workshop Series
Join us for a Tuesday morning gathering for small business owners and culinary startups. Watch parties will be held at NEOEDD’s office (basement of the Library) in Enterprise. We will be remotely joining a live presentation and will be able to interact with presenters. Each session will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
- May 16 – Getting Started with Idea Buddy
- Alberto Flores, a Reinventing Rural Ambassador, will dive into Idea Buddy, a business planning and modeling software for entrepreneurs and startups.
- May 30 – Legal Structures for Starters
- Michael Jonas, Principal Attorney and Owner of Rational Unicorn Legal Services, will provide knowledge and tools for you to protect your small business.
- June 13 – Licensing a Commercial Kitchen
- Learn all about licensing your commercial kitchen with Erin Lockett from Oregon Department of Agriculture.

Getting Started with Idea Buddy

Join us for a business law workshop. Attorney, Michael Jonas, of Rational Unicorn Legal Services will discuss:
- Types of business entities and how they differ
- Why contracts are important
- What types of contracts are essential for business owners
- Ways to protect your brand and content with trademarking and copyrighting
- How to use preventative business law to minimize liability
The workshop will include a Q&A session after Michael’s presentation.
