Sara is devoted to helping rural communities create their own destiny. Since 1994 she has worked closely with non-profits, multi-cultural groups, ad-hoc committees, business owners, cities and counties. Annie Thompson, Entrepreneurship and Special Projects Coordinator

anniethompson@neoedd.org

We are happy to introduce Annie Thompson who comes to us from northwest Montana, a native of the inland Northwest and the Rocky Mountains.  She has a bachelor’s degree in land use planning from Western Washington University and has worked in the private, public, and non-profit sectors in Montana and Idaho.

Annie is a newcomer to Oregon who says she is thrilled to have found such a warm, welcoming (not to mention incredibly beautiful) community.  She is excited to be moving into the economic development field and is looking forward to working with entrepreneurs, engaging diverse community members to manifest their own futures and actively plan for change.
